That's a really apt way of putting it.

I usually feel like it's my fault, like if I were better at explaining myself or understanding them, they would listen and see things differently. But more and more, I'm starting to come to the conclusion that more often than not, these people have become so twisted up in themselves that they're unreachable.

The crazy thing is, if Rush told 'em global warming was bad and the Democrats were at fault for it, they'd change their tune in a heartbeat.
