Gore's Five Steps to Safeguard the Constitution

I thought I'd whittle down the five things that Al said needed to be done to safeguard the Constitution (from these thugs) in his speech today

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Five Steps to Safeguard the Constitution
One - A special counsel should be appointed to investigate violations of law by the President...
Two - New whistleblower protections should be established for members of the Executive Branch who report evidence of wrongdoing...
Three - Both Houses of Congress should hold comprehensive hearings into allegations of criminal behavior on the part of the President...
Four - The Patriot Act should not be extended or enlarged unless and until there are adequate and enforceable safeguards to protect the Constitution and the rights of the American people...
Five - Any telecommunications company that has provided the government with access to private information concerning the communications of Americans without a proper warrant should immediately cease and desist in this apparently illegal invasion of the privacy of American citizens...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

That fifth one was rather out of the blue.
