I mean, look at the good ol' days when war meant confronting your enemy on the battlefield head on, swords, spears, guns even, but dropping bombs on cities and killing thousands of innocents? We hold the record for that for over half a century.

Its just a rotten and cowardly way to have a war, all the children, and mothers and old folks and citizens who had no blame whatsoever, lobbing bombs and missiles on them from the sky, from a jet or by simply pushing a button or mouse.

Have some meetings, sign some documents, send out some orders, light the fuses and send the rockets, all very impersonal, all very clinical, never seeing their faces as they die, never having to see their suffering, reduced to mere numbers.

I don't care who does it, its just a shitty and low down way of doing it. Instead of finding the actual enemy, you just drop bombs all over the place killing everyone and then justifying it by expressing regret that civilians had to die.

I don't know, I guess I'm still pissed about Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
