right to our faces? I know this might be a Captain Obvious moment but I just read the post about Alberto Gonzales lying to the police officers; you know, he's talking trash about fighting crime without Fed $ and says the pResident will reduce the deficit and fight terrorism...what utter bullshit. It is basic logic if a person's actions don't match their words then they are lying. Period.

So, you know, how is it that a pResident and his cronies can just continue to lie and lie without consequences? It really is quite baffling. Absurd even. A riddle perhaps.

I mean, of course there is the Cover-up-Congress, complicit in his/their crimes but aside from that, aside from the rubber stamping Congress, aside from the Corporate Whore Media, aside from these things...there is more.

What are we missing? What else is there? How do we allow this? How does this happen in the United States of America? And how is it that the Cover-up-Congress gets away with rubber stamping and law changing to cover-up the high crimes of the * Administration without being held accountable, legally and criminally, for violating the Oath they swore when they took office, the Oath to uphold the US Constitution and provide Congressional oversight?

I really need to read M. Scott Peck's book "The People of the Lie."
