That is great info to know. I really need to call and find out exactly what the system is here. I really like voting absentee for the reasons already stated, especially if they do have the touch-screens, since then I know my vote is on paper. However, I hadn't considered the possibility of my absentee ballot sitting around not getting counted if they are opti-scanning votes. Geez, this situation is such mess, you have to be so on-your-game to stay on top of it and make sure you do all you can to vote in the way that will be most effective!! Democracy should not be this way!!!!! :banghead:
