Mr. Limbaugh, why don't you really say sorry? Be responsible...

Aren't you a member of the supposed party of personal responsibility? Stand up then and take responsibility for your own words, sir.

When you first said Mr. Fox was faking his symptoms, what was going through your mind? Did you not think about how insane the suggestion was? Why would he take the risk of having the commercial blow up in his face by faking his symptoms, or even not taking his medicine?

Now, I think we can all give you a break on the not taking medicine stuff, he did do that before when he testified before a Senate committee, so I can at least see how you in your partisan hate might go after him for that.

I cannot, however, even believe someone would be so cruel to say Mr. Fox was FAKING his illness. That is just sick.

You have a large radio audience and you should think before you say something to them. As someone who garners that much attention daily, you have a responsibility to inform them of the facts and as your show is a commentary upon the days issues, your own opinions.

You mistakenly referred to embryonic stem cell research as "fetal stem cell research," something which Mr. Fox is not advocating.

I can understand and respect the decisions people make based upon their own personal beliefs, as well as those personal beliefs. If someone believes the full personhood of a human being begins at conception, they may not support embryonic stem cell research.

You should also tell your viewers that the embryos Mr. Fox advocates using for this research will be kept indefinitely in cold storage or tragically thrown in the trash. It is indeed true that there are wonderful organizations which have been created, and that they arrange adoptions of these "snowflake babies," but sadly they are not able to save the vast majority of embryos from destruction.

You might liken this to the way we turn the tragedy of a brain injury resulting in brain death, into the miraculous hope of organ transplants. I myself do.

Finally, I must say I am glad you are aware that this is simply research and not a guaranteed cure. There are those out there who do not inform people correctly on the other side of this issue, and make claims to the effect that as soon as this research is allowed to go forward with federal funds, people will be able to walk again. That is irresponsible, just as irresponsible as your misstatement and omissions of fact.

I hope you will be responsible and not only apologize to Mr. Fox on the air, but also inform your audience of all the facts related to this issue. You should have enough confidence in them to make the right decision.

*I am including the picture of a fetus and an embryo (at the stage when it is used for this research) to assist you in knowing the great difference between the two.
This is an embryo:

This is a fetus:

See the difference?
