27. It's Still An Over The Top Melodramatic Ridiculously Absurd Declaration.

Let's investigate, let's legislate, let's fix some things that have been broken and prove to the American people that we can lead responsibly and create prosperity while having the best interests of this country and its citizens at heart.

Impeachment would be a hugely futile distraction that would accomplish nothing and hinder us from doing so many other good things that the American people need us to do. This is merely the beginning of the Democratic Party being able to regain the trust and confidence of the American people on a road of majority that will hopefully last quite some time. There is so much good we can do for this country. There is so much that needs to be done. We have a chance to prove ourselves anew and I for one have all the confidence in the world that we will legislate with the utmost integrity and honor. If we go right out the gates with a pre-determined DSM-like push for impeachment than we throw all that good will and future potential away, just for a symbolic maneuver that has no chance whatsoever of succeeding.

I'm not going to throw away our longevity and ability to work towards making this country great again just for some fool-hearty and futile gesture.

To each their own. But that's where I stand.
