She joined my peace potluck in Illinois. I've held a peace potluck every year in September for the bike4peace group (bike4peace.org) at my place - FYI. I went to DC that year with my bike4peace guys and was really energized.

I've also been to every single candlelight vigil ever held in my community plus been downtown Chicago to major protests against the war AND when the pRes comes to visit. That doesn't mention petition drives I've worked on locally to get peace intiatives on the ballot in my community, and my campaign work for my anti-war candidate, Tammy Duckworth (who lost dammit).

I wish the Washington DC rally in 2005 would become an annual event - we need a major rallying point for the nation's groups to meet, network and build energy.
