consider the present, and you can guarantee that blaming the Democrats for their comprehensive failure in the war's conception, execution and ttermination will never ever fly at any time in the future.

Except in the eyes of the Clarkistas and Neocons, it's very conception was their biggest failure, and there was no way in which their subsequent actions could rectify the mistake and have them emerge even relatively unscathed.
