27. Nixon would have been impeached.
He was brought down. That is the important thing. Everyone knew Nixon for what he was in the end. Everyone knew he would have been impeached, indicted, and convicted. I'm glad Ford did what he did.

If Bush and Cheney end up resigning like Nixon and Agnew, I'm fine with it. I don't expect it. The GOP would need to find and dust off its integrity for that to happen. Maybe they can do that in honor of Ford.
