my father was a psychologist for a state prison, and he says that most serial killers start by killing or torturing small animals. Taking pleasure in the taking a life, and the inability of a person to feel compassion or empathy for other life forms, are all danger signs. At the very least, a person who kills animals for pleasure-especially tame and trusting ones-will make a dysfunctional parent. At the worst, he'll be a bloodthirsty mass murderer.

It's no surprise that Cheney enjoys torture.
