but what i have come upon more often than not is may 2001...

and if you look at the timeline..april & may 2001 haliburton was doing a contract with the taliban in april and may 2001 for an oil pipeline...
our government paid May 22,2001.. 44 million to the taliban against the hart/ rudman report recommendation to not give another dime to the taliban unless they turned over Bin Laden...to the US government...this admin paid it to the taliban ...

Hliburton was also trying to pin down an aggreement with Saddam for a pipeline through Iraq...

all fell apart the summer of 2001..
