In addition, we can control what happens within our borders. There isn't a realistic way to stop American companies from outsourcing if they came to an agreement, with a foreign country.
As I mentioned before, our Secretary of Agriculture outsourced jobs, when he was governor of Nebraska, which included personnel information about Americans, when he gave an Indian company the contract for welfare benefits. It wasn't to save money, because their bid was higher than that of an American company, that had years of experience.
The awarding of government contracts is a type of outsourcing that should be addressed. It's an issue of money, jobs, and privacy. It's hypocritical of our government to warn Americans about fraud and identity theft, when our own government gives out our private information to foreign companies.
