MnIndy Video: Anonymous riot cops snatch protesters near Palin bus, GOP delegate cries foul

As protesters targeted vice presidential nominee Gov. Sarah Palin as her tour bus arrived at the Minneapolis Hilton, three street medics assisting protesters were snatched by unmarked security in riot gear who refused to identify who they were. They had no badges or other identification, just beige uniforms with black riot gear.

Protesters demanded that the authorities identify themselves but they refused. The three medics were released after 15 minutes. Said one unnamed medic, “We just tried to diffuse the situation. We told them that not all protesters that look like us are involved in the same things. It was profiling.”

A GOP delegate gave the Minnesota Independent his thoughts on the anti-war protesters and on the police state of the Twin Cities. His answer might surprise: he’s a Ron Paul delegate.
