President Obama would accomplish quite a feat if he managed to "reign in big oil."

"Rein in" used correctly:

"The carriage stopped as soon as the driver could rein in his horses, and the same voice called to me by my name." ("A Tale Of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens)

I love the English language! And now for a few choice words regarding "the rain in Spain."
