David Swanson discusses Thursday's developments on Capitol Hill and class differences within the two-party system. Jeremy Scahill testified in Congress today and told Rep. Conyers that the Democrats abandoning the power of the subpoena and that "Congress is actually supposed to do something more than just hear about the crimes ... allowed dozens of top officials responsible for the most serious abuses and crimes to simply blow off subpoenas, all through 2007 and 2008, and have not reissued a single one of them in 2009 and 2010 - this is the serious story here."
