Polls show that people under 30 are much less homophobic than people over 30. The polls are the main evidence, of course, but I do hang out on boards that have a younger population and they will jump on and flame anyone who posts homophobic stuff.

I know this may be hard for people intent on whining about everyone who isn't the same age or from the same region as them to understand, but really most people are cool.
