I'm on the waning end of the 40's!
I was talking to one of my Mom's oldest friends today (she decided she was no longer a repuke pre-Katrina), anyhoo...she's pissed that 'impeachment is off the table'!! She's out for blood, and she's about as frustrated as I am these days. I called her yesterday to see if she could come up for dinner as a surprise for my Mom. Alas, she had a tentative commitment and when she called today to try to say that she wouldn't be there, her 93 yr. old aunt answered the phone with, "I understand that you'll be here tomorrow."
She called today to apologize for not being here tomorrow, and I told her that she really needed to go visit her aunt! :hi: :hug:
edit: she's ready to hit the streets and camp out on PA avenue! This is something to celebrate! I need to call her and mention Sept. 15th don't I? :dunce:
