Parts of that story literally had me in tears, btw. What kind of country is this that we have to make it so hard (and in some cases impossible) for people to get such basic things they need? In the larger scheme, the stupid scooters aren't even that expensive (the most immediate example being our dear ThomCat, who was in dire need of a motorized chair, and was turned down by his insurance company).

I went from seeing Weston as a scam artist to seeing him as a humanitarian/entrepreneur.
