and you pile them about a foot high. There is lemon juice, tons of cinnamon and sugar (More cinnamon than sugar) and you bake it until it turns golden brown and the stuff inside bubbles. There is more but that is key. NEVER be afraid to stack those apples. I like mine still a wee tad crispy. Also, swish a tad of water in the apple pan until the cinnamon left over mixes into it. Pour a bit of it into the pie. That will help make the juice juicy. :+
