Really, her website doesn't do her justice at all. It's really quite impossible to convey through mere words the impact she has on ordinary people once they've had a chance to actually listen to her speak, and spend some time talking with her. We were so impressed in 2006 that, when no one at all gave her chance in hell, she was able to do so well, gaining 40% of the vote in this Republican state, given that Don Young had about $3 million in his campaign war chest at the time and Diane ended up running on about $200,000, all small contributions from mostly individual donors. She is really remarkable.
