Project "Balls for Congress"
Advertisements [?]
Every once and a while I have great insight through the muck & mire of my existence. I believe this is one of those times.

I am so tired of reading stories of our elected officials failing to represent us, the people who pay them, properly. It occurred to me that what they lack most is "balls". That's right, they don't have the balls to do their job! Now I could continue to sit here and bum out about it or I could find a way to help them get some "balls". Here is my idea.

I am going to go out tomorrow and buy some balls. 6 to be exact, 2 for each one of my senators and 2 for my rep. They are all men but I would think it would be the same even if some of them were women because I want to be an equal opportunity "ball buster". I am going to mail 2 balls, I'm thinking little jax type balls, or maybe those superballs that we had when we were kids, or maybe even tennis balls, it really doesn't matter, as long as they're balls, to each one of my congressmen. I will not put a note in the box, nor will I use a return address. It's like a secret santa, only the sender will know who sent it.

I an encouraging everyone who reads this post to do the same. Maybe if congress gets enough "balls" they will start doing their job.
