And in a way I find it to be much like aboriginal beliefs.

Don't immediately blame others for faults. Find out what went wrong and try to fix it by looking at the root causes of unhappiness be it social, mental or economic or spiritual. And do it all with a view towards maintaining harmony in the community at large.

I tend not to be so charitable in cases like these.

But I'm glad for your compassionate view.
