I'm going to rewind my tivo and try to transcribe for you all.

Speaking on the economy

"Well, he (McCain) would do a lot of things differently. Let me answer the charge he (Obama) just made in that clip though first. (the clip was of Obama laughing that McCain was trying to tie Obama to Bush policies) Which is that when McCain said that Barrack Obama was another version of George W. Bush, I don't think that's a preposterous claim. This is a man that has voted for virtually every spending bill that George W. Bush has put forward. He voted for the Bush/Cheney energy policy. He's voted with the President nearly half the time. So for him to say that he is a radical departure from some of the things we've seen wrong in Washington I think is on its face not exactly honest. He has been supportive of the bloated government spending that is effecting American's pocketbooks today."

"Secondly on the different things that Bush and McCain, ah, where they deviate on the economy there could not be a clearer example then what we're seeing right now. Which is John McCain has said don't focus this relief on Wall Street, focus this relief on Main Street with homeowners and their foreclosures. Take those federal dollars that have already been designated to go to this bailout and put them right into the pocketbooks of Americans so that they can pay their foreclosures, and be free, er pay ah, their mortgages, so they're not forced into foreclosures. This will put a roof, er, floor, excuse me, a floor in the economic crisis and we can begin to build brick by brick a better economy there on Main Streets."

"So I don't think there could be a clearer deviation from Bush on spending. He's fought President Bush on climate control and climate change."

<snip like one sentence>

"Obama on the other hand has said I think we need to focus on the banks on Wall Street and I think that's to his detriment the American people will decide."
