26. I'm unwilling to take a F/T job but I don't collect unemployment either...
I also work as a freelancer (chasing down funding and financing for projects) in the film industry and write for income (cumulatively about 10 hours a week total). Those are my primary sources of income, my failing hunt for a supplemental P/T job with health benefits is failing...but forced to choose, I'd forgo insurance and the P/T job rather than work F/T because I can't afford the pay-cut.

So...I'm 1. I think I'm largely alone in this category though so who are these other "people" to whom Barbour refers. I also pay more in taxes than the average American because I have to pay both the employer and employee share of many taxes...I don't care about paying them, but it seriously sucks that I'm ineligible for the benefits of those taxes (Soc. Sec., unemployment during dry periods, other social safety net programs) because of GOP initiatives and assholes like Haley Barbour, Newt Gingrich and Grover Norquist.
