yes, I understand the right presents itself fawning to power with credentials attempting to indicate blind loyalty based in implausible magical thinking, because empires can't use those who cling to ideas of legitimacy and reason. the reality-based community is useless as a generator and follower of jingoistic slogans. still, why these budding bajiji?

sometimes I'm forced to wonder if a different branch of the hominid family might have served better as Earth's dominant intelligent species, only our branch killed them in a fit of protracted recidivist racist violence long before history began. then we were left holding the bag with none of the evolved skills needed for living sustainably and responsibly at the large group level, but the sexually selected military tendencies needed to take over the planet. Such would explain Free Republic. Let's just hope as great apes we can learn from each other enough to eventually grow out of it and conquer those bad genetic tendencies once and for all.

Only maybe we'd stop being clowns then too. Freepers are such clowns, and we wouldn't want to lose that!
