If Obama can provide the leadership to get universal healthcare through, he will ensure his legacy as a president.

Instead of being a one-termer, which he has previously said he might be (and is willing to be for this cause, he said), he could mark a turning point in our nation's history. Maybe corporate control can take a tumble.

The recent poll results from the AARP should bolster his resolve.
