So I Got A Bunch of Stuff When My Grandma Died. (Funny Odd Story)
Advertisements [?]
So about a year ago my grandmother passed away. She really didn't have much in the way of riches, and given that my grandfather is still living, she said a few things aside for her various grandkids to have. She knew that I was very politically active, and shared much of my political beliefs, with the exception of homosexuality, which we both chalked up to multigenerational differences. She lived in Dallas, Texas, the state that knew Bush long before we did, let's say he did not get her vote in 2000 or 2004, or for that matter at any point he was running for governor.

So I got two boxes shipped me by my grandfather of odds and ends scattered throughout my grandmothers house. It's that I had given her, a macaroni picture I had made in kindergarten (I just turned 33) and something that I found quite interesting and appalling at the same time. My grandmother lived in Dallas, Texas and in the box of stuff that she gave me was a 1984 framed Ronald Reagan/George Bush Republican National Committee convention poster. for those of you with good memories you will remember that it was held in Dallas that year.

So I held onto this poster for about 10 months, it is framed, and he sat down in my basement in a spare bedroom. Every time it went into the bedroom and a scared me, so I've decided to sell it on eBay. I know my grandma would not mind because I think she got it more as a memorabilia to the event (she worked there at the convention center for some time) and less memorabilia for the characters involved.

So anyway I wanted to show you a picture of the scariest thing that is my basement for the last 10 months haunting me.

Thank you for listening to my and weird story, I wonder if it did to my grandmother the same thing it did to me. freaked me out a little bit every time I walk by it, so I call PaPa and he told me he did not freak granny out because she had it in a largely Woolworth's bag shoved under the guest bedroom bed. in fact what he was gathering the items from around the house that were to be sent to me he had to remember where the hell she has hid that thing.

so because this was a story and not an advert I'm not going to post a link to the item. If you have a right-wing friend who would like to imagine the good old days of the RNC please send me a PM and I'll send you the link.
