The only way you can pretend you're relevant when you're really not. Inflate numbers, pretend there's some "popular outrage", cite polls out of context and lie where the facts are just too damn damning.

Rushbo doesn't care about facts or reality...neither do his listeners. It's all about feeling "right", superior...creating their parallel universe that allows them to escape any responsibility of their actions or to be any agent of positive change. In their minds they have millions on their side, just like the Jimmy Stewart character believed Harvey was a real rabbit. Hear a lie enough times and it becomes truth. McLuan would marvel on the way rushbo and the hate radio crowd have created their own "reality" and how many they've been able to con into subscribing to it.
