They started there and kept moving up the political ranks, bringing much decisiveness with them every step of the way. They gathered crowds to be sure, but the noise they made was much greater than their actual numbers.

Snowballed and Newt taught them Goebbels propaganda methods (for which they got college credit, I believe). Newt got his Contract on America in place and shut down the US government in a snit fit over his seat on AF1 while Clinton had to write a eulogy instead of entertain the inflated ego of a reptile.

All politics are local, in the beginning. Tell the GOP pol I said so. ;)
