8. Boy, I bet they're really enjoying themselves
finding and taking advantage of all these obscure little Senate rules to obstruct business. Has anybody taken a poll on how many people actually approve of all of this obstruction? Boy, if people think that electing MORE Repubs to Congress in November is going to somehow make things "better" and/or engender more bipartisanship in Washington, then they REALLY need to think again. When we were in the minority, I don't think we ever ground everything to a halt the likes of which the Republicans are currently doing. It's absolutely sickening. :puke:

IMHO the Democrats NEED to frame the election in November as a choice between doing the people's business and getting things done vs. RAMPANT obstructionism by the Repubs- and the best part is that we have literally tons of soundbites about it to plaster all over campaign ads and in debates showing that Repubs are more interested in throwing temper tantrums than doing their jobs.
