10. It almost seems as if the Dems do not want to stay in power. They are more comfortable
railing against the bad repukes while going along with almost every one of their proposals.

IF Obama and the Dems had come out with a real progressive agenda and pushed it, they would have many of the ignorant middle on their side because they could have simply and directly shown what the policies would do for the workers in this country. But they didn't.

IF Obama and the Dems had come out with a real progressive agenda and pushed it, they would have the enthusiastic support (and effort) of liberals who are tired of the lesser of two evils and would get behind a progressive leader to a degree not seen in a long time. But they didn't.

IF Obama and the Dems had come out with a real progressive agenda and pushed it, they could have easily painted the pukes as the party of the wealthy, defenders of the murderous insurance companies and banksters and Wall Street thieves. But they didn't.

So, it will be another plea for "you can't let the republicans back in because they will be so much worse."

I think of Capt. Picard's speech from "Yesterday's Enterprise" - "Not good enough, dammit! Not good enough!"
