I don't know who's spreading it, but they should be straightened out first, and right away. Then, people the African people trust, perhaps those spreading the lie now, need to explain the right way to stop HIV and AIDS. Measures are already afoot to break patent laws with regard to HIV drugs to make them affordable, so hopefully that won't be a barrier any longer sometime soon.
