15. You might be surprised...
I did a lot of reading about FEMA disaster relief and FEMA goes out of their way to
say that this is not a welfare program and eligibility is not dependent on income.
The stuff I read said that anyone who experiences a disaster deserves services, no
matter what your income is.

The FEMA guy who came to our home, talked about all of the homes he'd been in and
had some very interesting stories about people they helped...college professors,
successful bankers, scientists.

If FEMA came out to their house and their damage was documented thoroughly, they just
might get funds.
