Even among Freepers, there are some who don't think holding a Qur’an bonfire is a cool thing to do. But most of them are very enthusiastic about the idea. Many of those who were "opposed" were mainly concerned about where the money would go if they purchased a Qur’an:

According to an add I heard on the Kansas version (KCMO) of the Rush Limbaugh show, you can request one free from the local Mosque. I shall not burn my copy, but instead am sending it for a long trip down from a 100th floor room to the street below. If it survives the fall I may have to burn it to put it out of its misery

We really need to work on stopping immigration from the third world. How can bringing the needy from poor countries possibly help? Especialy the way jobs are now. Especially people from a drastically different religion. How about America first for a change? Possibility there or not?
