Plan your trips to the store. Go to multiple places in one large trip, as opposed to many small ones.
Keep off your gas pedal. Don't "floor it" unless you need to avoid an accident.
Buy more groceries, as opposed to making multiple trips.
Ride your bike more often or walk.
Keep your tires filled up, and your oil changed.
Jonesing for a smoke? Walk your ass to the Quickie-Mart to get more cigs.
Don't speed.
Don't ride someone's ass. Keep your distance.
Plan your route so that you'll hit fewer stoplights. (The less momentum you lose, the more gas you save.)
Take public transportation, if available.
Carpool, if you can.
Learn to change your own spark plugs. It's really easy to do!
Try to stay under 2000 RPM when you're driving in the city. (Gradual acceleration)
Park in the first place you see in a parking lot. Driving around the lot for a "primo place" wastes gas.
