5. I think a lot of teabaggers are pissed off and scared.. They don't understand
why they are losing everything when they played by the "rules"... They don't know what is up or down... but they are used to a "conservative view point"; and those people are telling who to blame... They are past listening. They are scared. Their way of life is crashing in. They want what they had back.. They want the good job and vacations and pension and home and savings back. However, many of them are completely closed off. When you start a conversation and you are labeled a "marxist, socialist".. well, its hard to converse.

On the other hand, most people when polled without a label, are more liberal/ progressive as a whole. Most want these "green" jobs, most want the high speed trains, most want the wars ended and the money diverted back into infrastructure/ jobs/ education, etc, most want a single-payer health care system, most would like the European "socialist" work model with the vacations and pd maternity/ paternity leave and pension funds.

Its the politicians and the money that subvert thought and progress these days.
