The Neo Nazi style fascists at the top just doesn't work.

So we now have a smooth, charismatic man at the helm. With a dark skin color, so the appeal to foreign realms like Africa is huge. Obama is someone able to speak clearly and intelligently, though if you parse the verbiage, we are offered a bag of policies that still stink to high heaven.

In fact he was talking about the need for a New World Order just today at West Point.

He has handed the money from Main Street over - 14 trillion and counting - mostly to Wall Street interests who will not lend it back out. He has handed the critical food supply over to the Monsanto GMO interests, and the resulting famine and inedibility of the food ten years from now will make this Oil Disaster look like a child's picnic. He handed the public schools over to private interests a la the charter school movement.

My state has 12% unemployment, my county has 20% unemployment, and his banking buddy Geithner could care less - and in fact refused to loan us our own money back so maybe we could get back to normal.

But hey - he did expand the war in Afghanistan. And decide to avoid the withdrawal time table regarding Iraq. His Drug Czar wants to keep marijuana illegal and his oil disaster policies are going to hurt him heavily -especially among people in the Gulf and southern East Coast.

What little relief I feel is from not having to look at Cheney or Rumsfeld too often. But other than that, and the stem cell proposal, it has been mostly a huge disappointment.
