When I first tuned in I thought McMahon was doing better. She kept throwing out barbs and attacking (bait for Blumenthal which he ignored mostly) and she came across as a mean and sort of a bossy know-it-all but just on the surface. Blumenthal stayed calm and cool and kept to what he had done for the state and what he would do. By the end I thought he had handled the debate much better.
