The OP said Kyl doesn't want to work the week after Christmas. I suggested, inferred, implied, whatfucking ever his refusal was patently absurd. I said if Kyl refused to work on Christmas Day he would have a point. To which my interlocutor suggested he should work on Christmas Day and the whole idea of making Christmas Day a national holiday was unwarranted. My retort was any attempt to legitimize Christmas Day was doomed to fail and would make us irrelevant.

I stand on that.
