3. About what I had expected from both parties
PRESIDENT Obama- I expected him to give a rousing speech without stepping on anybodies toes or trying to get people angry at each other. Of course, there's still a lot more to this case than meets the eye, so he didn't assign blame.

FAILURE Palin- Hell I didn't even watch her 'speech', just saw a few bits and context reporting from Big Ed and Olbermann. From what I did see, making this about 'silencing the opposition' made her look like a whiny brat. Several people just got shot, you ditz. Going after critics of your stupid postings is not a valuable use of time.

The nutbars on the right are mad because their tactics to gin up the crazies are being caught onto by others. This 'politics by lone gunman, followed by woe-is-me' is not going to work anymore. ALL THEY TALK about is gun metaphors because anything less that nutso is tuned out by their audience.

This Tucson nut wasn't a Palin fan, but it don't mean the others from last year weren't. Cenk was right on the money- BLOW the dogwhistle enough times and in enough directions, someone will listen and ACT on it.
