In fact, the liberal Democratic base are his biggest supporters.

Job Approval among Dems: 79%. Liberal Dems:87%

Liberal Dems 87%
Moderate Dems 73%
Conservative Dems 69%

His opponents will never acknowledge this fact, of course. Fortunately, facts don't cease to exist because they are ignored.
