The whole fashion industry also is built on abuse. Abuse of women who are pushed into eating disorders either trying or failing to achieve the unrealistic boyish thinness pushed out there as an ideal. Abuse of models who are expected to be walking clothes hangers. Abuse of the workers who make the clothing. Abuse of the consumer in removing quality from products while continuing peddle expensive designer crap in all levels of retail.
