54. Actually someone like you would be the first to see it -
my family was like that back in the 70s. Factory workers. My grandfather would often make the comment "the politicians are all the same", "they're all crooked" etc... what he was tapping into was the fact that it didn't matter for us who was in office (on economic issues anyway), nothing really changed unless it got worse.
