93. Obama's Private Chicago Dinners

Obama has been deep in the pockets of the corporate power brokers for quite some time. Watch the Academy Award Winning documentary "Inside Job" and you'll see more "bought" connections to Obama but these are from Wall Street and Goldman Sachs, among others.

During the presidential primaries I posted on DU the close connections that Obama has with the CEO of JP Morgan Chase, the wizard Jamie Dimon. Dimon and the Obamas were frequent dinner guests of Penny Pritzker (Hyatt Hotels aka no union workers here) at her mega mansion on the northside of my fair city: CHicago. I have friends who live down the block from the Pritzkers and they would tell us that the street was frequently blocked with limos in front of Pritzker's MacMasion. We later learned that these small dinner parties also included the CEO of Excelon, and Da Mayor King Richard II and his sweet wife.

Penny Pritzker was the head of Obama's finance committee.

This was the reason I did not support Obama in the primaries but I did volunteer for Obama after the nomination.

I knew we were getting a corporate powered president but my heart keep hoping that what he said in those eloquent speeches would become a reality.

I was wrong.

So as a Progressive Democrat, I am looking for a Progressive candidate to run in the Democratic Presidential Primaries.

Any suggestions?
