106. This might add some information....
I found this, from 2008. It is an announcement of a lecture by Larry James,
"The Neurobiological Learning Society (NLS) is proud to announce its 2008 Distinguished Speaker, Dr. Larry James, PhD, Col U. S. Army (ret) who will speak on "The Impact of War on Health Professionals"

"The U. S. Army psychologist ordered to investigate alleged prisoner abuses at Guantanamo Bay and Abu Ghraib, Dr. James will present his findings including how the abuses occurred, the effects on medical and psychological staff who for one reason or another became involved, and procedures implemented in order to prevent it from happening again."

From the way it is presented, he had nothing to do with planning the types of torture,
that the problem really was the impact of torture on the people doing it!

( for some reason, it reminds me of the way Giuliani was all over the lecture circuit on the topic of "leadership" after the elections).

The outfit promoting Larry James is also weird sounding:

The Neurobiological Learning Society is a private, incorporated, state and federally-recognized non-profit, membership-based educational society dedicated to fostering the theory, methodology, ideals and concepts of neurobiologically-based, transformative learning and instruction throughout the world.

Anyhow, take a read and see how this "feels" to you.
