73. I don't understand why people think you have to swallow ANY media whole, nor . . .
why so many people think everyone must accept or reject 100% what anyone else says about anything. Do you do that? Why do you think everyone else does? Why, especially when one sees wholesale oversimplified memes, such as "ultra" _________ & "... perfect ________" & "... blaming __________________." Not that those characterizations are completely invalid, and never happen, but that they obviously are NOT the only thing going on. And, yet, SOME people talk about what they apparently do not understand as though others being extreme or blaming were the ONLY possible explanation for something that they didn't even bother to ask enough questions about

Do you mean to say that everyone "... who refuse(s) to walk in lockstep with flawed policies through thick and thin ..." (a gross mischaracterization of what I said, btw, where did I say 'through thick and thin'? - and did I not say something like "AT THIS TIME"?) ... so, you're saying everyone knows everything they need to know in order to make whatever determination about how they "walk"? or do they even know enough of what they would need to know? or even if they did know the quintessential facts, it would be impossible for anyone to make any mistakes, or be dishonest with themselves or others, about their evaluation and their response of that knowledge?

Amongst other things, False Dichotomies, especially those couched in threadbare cliche rhetoric, are either naive or dishonest.

Do you think hacks get paid more for the use of certain specific words and less for synonyms or semantically related terms?
