119. They're still around, sadly
Last summer, my wife and I walked over to the local high school for a weekend carnival in the San Fernando Valley. They had less than 20 booths, one of which hosted the John Birch Society. Manned (naturally) by an elderly white couple, my wife decided to engage them. I couldn't bare to even look at them, so I opted out of that conversation. The funniest part was that the Birchers had the Social Security booth next to them, and next to that was the Rethuglican Party booth. Somebody had a sense of humor when they planned the booth locations.

:)

I was really upset that it was on a public school grounds, but then found out this crappy little carnival was being put on by a private company, so they can rent the booths to anyone. It was interesting to see such an anachronism trying to lurch back to life, and given the couple at the booth, it ain't gonna last much longer with its current membership.
