13. No thanks.
I don't feel like shooting myself in the foot.

Boycotting business by not buying stuff is a fool's errand. We are not longer their target market. They are looking to the emerging economies of India and China to feather their nests with. We are unimportant.

We can, however, take our money out of national and foreign banks though and put it into community banks and credit unions. We can try to pay down our credit cards and not use them. That would hurt the banksters.

Not voting is another fools errand, especially if we need to vote for taxes for badly needed programs to continue. To not vote is to allow someone else to make decisions for you.

I can agree with not contributing to religious organizations, but by not contributing to progressive candidates, who do not have Koch big bucks behind them, only keeps them out of the game.

There was a time you could file your taxes and not send them money until they demanded it, but those days are over and you will pay fines, upon fines.

I don't know where you got your ideas but they definitely are not from the left.
