12. Not because of "Republican America" - school nurses have
been as rare as hen's teeth for a long time.

My son is 31 - when he was in school I volunteered to help staff the nurses office during the week, because his district (not rich, not poor) had one nurse for over twenty schools. We (parent's) weren't trained professionals, of course, but at least we could handle most issues that came up.
